A-Trust cooperates with Governikus for secure digital administration in Germany

Three men in suits are sitting on black leather sofas in a modern office with glass windows and large plants. On the glass table in front of them are a book and a red logo shaped like an 'A'. An abstract painting hangs on the wall behind them.

A-Trust has entered into a pioneering partnership with the German company Governikus. The aim of the cooperation is to further advance the digitalization of public administration in Germany - with maximum security and user-friendliness.

By integrating A-Trust's qualified electronic signature (QES) and electronic seal into the Governikus DATA Sign signature platform, German authorities will also benefit from A-Trust's proven technology and experience in the future. Governikus DATA Sign is part of the official Governikus application of the IT Planning Council and is available to public institutions in Germany free of charge.

"This collaboration enables us to tap into another important customer segment in Germany with the public sector. With Governikus, we have a strong and experienced partner at our side when it comes to information security and data protection", explains Markus Vesely, CEO of A-Trust.

Governikus is also delighted. A-Trust's comprehensive e-government expertise was decisive for the partnership:

“We are delighted to be able to share the many years of experience of the Austrian industry leader A-Trust with our customers for the benefit of digitization projects in Germany - especially in public administration”, says Stephan Klein, Managing Director of Governikus.
