Requirements for issuance
In order for your qualified DPP company seal certificate to be issued, two requirements must be met for the authentication of the legal entity.
EU registered office
To issue the qualified seal, your company must have a registered office within the European Union. To verify your company, we check your details against an extract from the Austrian Commercial Register or the European Business Register (EBR). If your organisation is not listed there, alternative supporting documents may be submitted to confirm its existence.
Unique identification
The identity of the authorised persons is uniquely confirmed by the qualified electronic signature on a document, for example using ID Austria or xIDENTITY. Once we have received all the necessary documents in full, we will usually issue your certificate within 1–2 working days.
